Prayer for Chaplains and Soldiers

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, asking Your blessing upon all chaplains and soldiers who serve their nation with courage and sacrifice. Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, guide our chaplains as they bring Your presence to those who are weary, wounded, fearful, or alone. Grant them wisdom to counsel, compassion to comfort, and faithfulness to proclaim Your Gospel in every circumstance. Strengthen them to be signs of Your mercy and instruments of Your peace. Bless our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Guardians, and all who wear the uniform of their country. Protect them from harm, strengthen them in times of trial, and preserve them in body, mind, and spirit. Give them courage in danger, integrity in duty, and humility in service. Watch over those who are deployed far from home. Comfort their families and loved ones who await their safe return. Bring healing to the wounded, hope to the discouraged, and eternal rest to those who have given their lives in service to others. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, Saint Michael the Archangel, protector of God's people, and Saint Martin of Tours, patron of soldiers, keep all military personnel under Your loving care. May all who serve seek justice, uphold truth, defend the innocent, and work for a lasting peace among nations. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
